A work combining dance and live music, Enfold explores the increasing global concern of community displacement and relocation due to rising sea levels as a result of climate change.
Sound, movement and image are interwoven by Australian Javanese dancer/choreographer Jade Dewi Tyas Tunggal and musician Ria Soemardjo, to create a work that evokes the rituals of migration, settlement and seeking asylum.
A shared journey between audience and performer, Enfold transcends Australia’s shorelines as we collectively search for meaning and connection in an increasingly displaced world.’
‘Mesmerizing and immediately engaging.
